tepcon brings IIOT solutions to HFU
WE ARE PART OF THE LECTURE SERIES "PRACTICE OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
As part of the "Praxis der Informatik" lecture series, which takes place weekly at Furtwangen University, accomplished practitioners, project managers, strategists and scientists from industrial practice give lectures and workshops on highly topical issues in computer science.
This week we gave the students an insight into the topic of "Industrial IoT as a Service". The theoretical part focused on realized projects in the area of machine monitoring. Together we explored the question: How important is collected data as a basis for machine learning?
In the practical part, tepcon's augmented reality solutions were used: The students were able to try out tepcon's augmented presenter on the HoloLens and their own smartphones. Afterwards, the students moved a snake from the classic game "Snake" in front of the laptop camera by image recognition with body movements using a simple control trained by machine learning.
