To Maximum Productivity with tepcon's Predictive Maintenance Model
Pioneering project at plant manufacturer AP&S in cooperation with measurement technology expert Kistler
Fast, efficient, smart - that's how production processes should run today. This requires a high degree of automation, maximum machine availability, optimum interlinking and perfect coordination of the individual production components with each other.
If a plant fails, it has an enormous impact on the entire production schedule: Damage to the material, reduction in productivity and capacity utilization, increased throughput time and failure to meet delivery deadlines are the consequences. A horror scenario, which unfortunately is still far too often part of everyday operations. The solution to avoid this damage lies in the Predictive Maintenance approach. And this is where tepcon comes into play. The current project, which the digitization expert from Donaueschingen is implementing for the international plant manufacturer AP&S, transparently illustrates the advantages and the path to implementing predictive maintenance in practice.
